You know that:
dA has a problem with copyright theft?
when you share stock that you acknowledge and agree to retaining some copyright while sharing some
you retain the right to restrict your stock being used on other sites or in prints etc
Apparently there is a loophole. On the stock image page, there is a tiny [i] button for information, and in that information is a statement which says this stock is entered into the public domain for incorporation into other work
What does that mean?
It means copyright theft is not defensible in a court of law because this statement says its freely given.
It also contradicts the dA submission agreement http://about.deviantart.com/policy/submission/, which says the artist retains full ownership of their submissions :faq226:
